How to setup domain registered with namecheap to point it to blogger blog
Here is the problem, you already had a domain name registered with namecheap with you, and you want to use it with your established free blogging tool which is blogger.com, but you don’t know how to set it to work. Here is the step you need to do :
Blogger Setting
1. get into your blogger account settings
2. Move to ‘Publishing’ tab

3. Click on custom domain

4. You will see a ‘ Buy a Domain for your blog’.because you already bought it from namecheap, you just need to click at the ‘Switch to advanced setting’ link to the right.
5. Then it will ask for your registered domain. put it in the text box provided (yourdomain.com)
6. Click on Save Setting button to finalize the setup.
NameCheap Settings.
1. Ok, go to the manage domain menu, choose the domain name from the list.

2. After selecting the domain name you want to setup, look at the menu list on the left side bar. Under the ‘Host Management’ menu, select ‘All Host Record’.

3. You will see the setting you need to change in the main menu, change both record type to CName (Alias) and use ghs.google.com as the ip address. Refer image

5. Click on ’save changes’ button to finalize the setup.
the domain pointing will take time to work (about 30 minutes for my setup to work). Oh, one more thing, you won’t lose your old blogspot domain as the old address (yourblog.blogspot.com) will point to the own domain you just setup before.
